In December of 2003, I decided to try my luck with Match.com. I gave it three months in which to hopefully find SOMEONE who is like-minded, creative, intelligent, funny and most of compatible with that certain 'spark'... Was I asking too much? No. I wanted the whole package... So 2 days before the deadline, I received an email - it wasn't so much the words - but the spirit behind them. Out of the 5000 who glanced at my profile, maybe this was the one... Gregory B. Kent.

We exchanged a few emails, talked on the phone and decided to met the following weekend. We knew immediately and within a few months, he moved in. There was no denying it, so the following October, we decided to make it for real. Both the majority of our families attended and in front of them and some of our closest friends, we had Ranger Rick marry us.

We had two ceremonies. One for the parents, which my father finally gave his baby girl away. At midnight proper, we held the other ceremony where we shared wine, bound our hands and hearts, and were presented to the Four Quarters.

A good time was had by All....
